Catch of the Day

Working concept

An ongoing release of works from a living archive.

Over time, works accumulate.

Paintings, photographic artist proofs, early tests, studio experiments — pieces that mark different states of making. Some resolved, some abandoned, some never fully defined.

Rather than remain static, they return.

Catch of the Day is a system of release: a sequence of timed auctions where selected works are brought back into circulation. Not as a retrospective, and not as a fixed collection — but as periodic interruptions in the archive.

Each release shifts the balance between what is kept and what is let go.

There is no hierarchy between finished and unfinished. Only timing, selection, and re-entry.

Early access and release updates are shared via SiT (Stay in Touch) — the pink tab at the top of the page.

This is an ongoing process.
New drops will appear without fixed rhythm.
